PROUD BREEDERS OF THE
CANADIAN NATIONAL HORSE
Donalf Farms only foal for 2021 arrived May 19th at 12:45am. She is a healthy, strong - and very
leggy - filly with a unique multi-coloured hoof and white sock. This photo was take by Mackenzie Madeley who shares a birthday with Iridescence (Dessi) - at just 8 hours old.
We are expecting 2 foals for 2022 around May 1st and June 1st. These foals will be full siblings to Donalf Neirin Iridescence and Gala, as well as Donalf Neirin Harlee (see below for a rare video of Harlee's birth!)

The birth of DONALF NEIRIN HARLEE
In 2020 we had the rare opportunity to witness - and capture - the moment of our foal's birth during daylight hours. We are thrilled to share this unique and wonderous experience with you in this special video. Enjoy!
2020 brought another healthy, large colt into the herd, just under two weeks after Harlee to complete our 2020 foaling season. Donalf Neirin Hennessey was born at almost the current size of his brother Harlee (a very big foal indeed!), with a beautiful white crescent moon star.
Both colts had interesting foal coat colours and markings. They were colour tested, which confirmed their black colour but with a nd1/nd2 genotype. This genotype produces primitive markings, such as a dorsal stripe, which Harlee has retained. These colts are truly special, and like our 2019 fillies, we were very particular about their future homes. We are thrilled that these colts went together to Tom Bishop of Tom Bishop's 4B Ranch Productions in Ontario where they will perform at liberty, driving, tricks and Roman Riding in shows and on screen. Both are going to be impressive examples of this magnificent breed and will make amazing ambassadors. Harlee in particular is the most athletic colt we've ever seen.

On October 6, 2019 over 200 visitors enjoyed meeting Canada's National Horse at our first-ever Donalf Farms Open House! The stars of the show were of course the babies - Donalf Neirin Gala and Donalf Neirin Ganache - however everyone was also wowed by the riding and liberty demonstrations by our resident Canadians, including Stallion Neirin, as well as several local visiting Canadian Horses. Thank you to everyone who participated and helped raise awareness about Canada's National Horse.
